I KILLED MY MOTHER. Is a 2009 Xavier Dolan movie. Popular after winning three international awards. The Gay movie starts off with 16-year old Hubert proclaiming his love for his mother but can’t stand being her son! The movie starts off at a high pitch and deftly keeps the audience glued detailing the complicated relationship between the Gay teenager and his single mother, after a divorce to the father.

In the Movie, Hubert claims to his teacher that his mother is dead, and after she uncovers the lie she exclaims ‘You Killed Your Mother’. This inspires Hubert to write an essay for school in the same title. Very creative, captivating, and capturing, the movie runs through Hubert’s eventful coming out and the reaction from the mother.
