Synopsis

A Neil Jordan’s gay themed movie following the life of a peculiar Patrick ‘Kitten Braden. Braden’s life gets complicated from the very beginning when his mother drops him off at a local house where his father lived before leaving town never to look back.

He then drops off to unloving foster families who kick him out as soon as they see him donning a girl’s dress and lipstick despite biologically being a boy. The family kicks the abominable boy out of their home to a friend’s home.

He grows into a young quiet but confused boy with crushes and loves that don’t quite pen out. He soon leaves the small town to London to seek better acceptance by the town and to seek his long lost mother.
